My Experience

I have 9 years childminding experience and I’m lucky to do a job I love. We enjoy visiting parks, going for walks, going to the beach, going to libraries, visiting farms, visiting museums, gluing, sticking , painting, playing outside, singing (nursery Rhymes) and dancing whilst children grow, learn and and most importantly laugh and have fun.

I provide a safe homely environment with plenty of space both inside and out. I have a variety of toys to suit different age groups and adapt my setting to the requirements of children attending.

I enjoy cooking home cooked food for the children and will ensure children eat a well balanced diet.

During my 9 years child-minding most children who have attended my setting were with us for a number of years. The children I care for become part of our home & family. My main aim is for minded children to feel safe and welcomed in a home from home environment.

My Qualifications

I have a Business Studies Degree BA (Hons) and all the necessary qualifications to become a childminder including, ICP Introducing Childminding Practice, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children, Food Hygiene. As required to become a childminder I have also had the relevant DBS checks. I have attended/completed many other relevant courses to support my knowledge in childcare. (Equality & Diversity, Online Safety, Theories Underpinning EYFS etc.)
I keep up to date with any relevant training through my Early Years Team and attend or complete courses relevant to my setting regularly.

My Availability

I currently have availability for part-time/full time and some spaces for before and after school care.
