About Me
I am a fully qualified teacher - EYFS & KS1, currently working as a Reception teacher. I have a degree in Sociology with Business Law and I have completed a PGCE at the Institute of Education. I am responsible, hardworking and I put all of my effort into everything that I do. As a teacher I understand that the learning process can be challenging for some children, and I would like to become a tutor to offer my support where possible. Learning should be enjoyable, and children learn best when they are provided with the skills and resources that guide them to strive independently. I aim to offer support and encouragement to all children, and inspire them to work hard and succeed both inside and outside of school :)
My Experience
I have worked with children and young adults for a number of years, and I have tutored for children under the age of 10. My passion lies within the Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS), however I am also trained to teach within KS1. I can also provide homework help for children within KS2. I have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), which has helped me to understand and adapt to the needs of different children. I am also available for online lessons.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSE’s at C and above and 3 A-Levels. I
hold a degree in Sociology with Business Law, and a PGCE in Primary Education- EYFS and KS1.
My Availability
Mainly evenings/ weekends and during school holidays.
