My name is Bryony Rose, but I am known as Bea!
* A little about me...
I am 33 and am a polite, well presented, caring & laidback Nanny!
I am based on the outskirts of Romsey but happy to travel for roles in the surrounding areas.
I am also a mummy to our lovely 4 and 2 year old daughters, with plenty of newborn experience, also working with children up to age 11!
* What I can offer to your family and children..
• A fun, engaging and caring nanny who loves to view the world through the eyes of the children she is caring for
• A Nanny with a love of the outdoors & exploring, which presents lots of opportunities for activities and play and learning through nature
• Experience of raising my own 2 children - both sweet, happy contented little girls!
• Lots of outings and regular clubs and sessions (such as Jiggy Wrigglers/Moo Music, baby & toddler groups and anything else that the family would like)
• A gentle approach & caring interactions, focused on praise
• Age appropriate activities nuturing children's individual learning abilities and taking into account their own interests
• Cooked meals (I am no michelin star chef but can provide nutritious and interesting simple meals)
• Basic household chores (as much as is practical and reasonable with the demands & needs of young children still being met as they are my main priority and I am first & foremost a Nanny; I do however always tidy up after the children during the day and clear away our own mess after activities, meals etc)
• Excellent communication with parents throughout the day if wanted in the form of photos of activities etc and I am in the habit of keeping a daily Nanny diary
My Experience
* Qualifications & experience..
• I have done it all, from changing nappies and winding babies to helping with homework!
• My nannying experience varies from ages newborn (my own!) to nannying for children aged 6 months to 11years
• Twin experience
• Daily routines from waking up, through to bath and bed time
• Nursery experience working with all ages, but having been based long term in the baby room within Busy Bees and Yellow Dot (Bright Horizons nurseries) and 2-3 year olds and having key children in these age groups
• Recent and relevant newborn experience from having my own!
* Important points...
• OFSTED registered (needs yearly renewal)
• I am a non smoker
• hold full Nanny insurance and follow OFSTED recommended policies and procedures
• I am up to date DBS checked
• I hold my paediatric first aid training & qualification
• Nanny Common Core Skills qualified
• I hold my Level 3 Qualification in Childcare
• I have my own car (a very "sensible" and child-friendly Nissan) and am an experienced driver with full clean driving licence
(Small mileage charge for journeys with Nanny children, 45p per mile)
• Food hygiene certificate Level 2
• Up to date safeguarding training

* What role am I looking for?
• A family who would like their children to have fun whilst being encouraged to learn!
• children who like to be silly, get messy, go outdoors, jump in puddles, sing songs, build dens, bake cupcakes, read books, go to fun clubs and days out and humour Bea with the crazy activities she sometimes comes up with!
I offer full days and wraparound care, as well as ad-hoc work.

Bea has joined our family a few times to help support us with our two girls when they were almost 1 and 2 years of age (there is a very small age gap between them). Bea is very kind and caring and understanding of them and they both absolutely adored her (and still do). We keep in regular contact still. Unfortunately with the nature of our work we were unable to provide Bea with stable work otherwise we would still have her now!
Bea regularly took the girls out to the farm to see the animals which they loved and many other outings.
I always came home to a tidy house, fed and bathed, happy tired toddlers ready to spend some quiet time reading a book before bed.
Bea is a lovely person to have around, she uses her initiative and is happy to help in any way, I have never had to ask anything of her as she just fit perfectly into our family and treated our home as if it was hers while she was here.
I could not recommend her more! she has been an absolute blessing to our crazy little life and has made it just that little bit better for us all!
