About Me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh, with experience as an au pair, babysitter and educator. I am a freelance artists, digital marketer and educator also. I enjoy embroidery and illustration, gardening and exploring green spaces. I volunteer at Brudgend Farmhouse with digital content, as well as working on some online courses at the moment. I am flexible, and able to travel to places around Edinburgh. When babysitting I like to find out what active things the children are interested in, and to do more of that. i also have a lot of arts and crafts experience which I would be happy to share
My Experience
I have over 15 years of expirence, as the oldest sibling of 11 children I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember so it comes very naturally. I worked as a Lifeguard throughout collage then University and have gained a plethora of first aid experience and training. I have since worked as an Au Pair for a year for a family in Rome, where I was responsible every day for 4 hours, as well as picking up, dropping off from activities and making dinner, as well as light housework. During and after University I babysitted for a family in Edinburgh also. As a result, I have experience working with new borns, to teenagers and I'm confident communicating with all ages.
During University I also worked at the Museum on the Mound as an Activities Session Leader, leading classes of high school and primary aged children. I am therefore confident doing some light teaching also.
My Qualifications
DBS certificate, First Aid Training (CPR, Spinal Injuries and general first aid as lifeguard), English Literature and History 2.1
