My Experience

In additional to my qualification, I have around 6 years of experience working in Childcare. Jobs I have previously had include; Early Years Practitioner in nurseries, Residential Support Worker in a Residential Children’s Home, PlayWorker in an After School Club, and a Nanny.
I have worked with children from as young as 0 up to 18 years old.
I have experience of working with children and young people with SEND.

I am extremely passionate about keeping my knowledge up to date with training and courses to ensure that I am working to the best of my ability and keeping the children in my care safe at all times, as well as providing them with education.
I hold many up to date training certificates. I am devoted to ensuring I provide all children in my care with safety, care, kindness, love, and education. I have good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and ensure I implement this into my practice.

I enjoy exploring the outdoors and believe that the outside environment and nature is crucial for children’s development.

I am also passionate about teaching children about hygiene and cleanliness.
In addition to this, I believe it is very important for children to learn and grow their independence skills. In order to support this, I always encourage children to assist with activities such as preparing breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, etc, making sure the activity is appropriate for the child’s age and individual abilities.

I am a very patient person who is able to effectively communicate, verbally and non-verbally. I have always had great relationships with parents and carers in my all my job roles.
I’m very empathetic, loving, and a good listener. I am able to help children to regulate their emotions and promote positive behaviour.

I enjoy creating fun and educational activities for children, following the 7 areas of learning.

I do not currently hold a driving license but I am working towards getting my lessons booked.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.21 per hour (net)

Nanny- £10.00-£12.00 an hour
Babysitting- £12.00 an hour
