My Summary
About Me
Hello! I'm currently a part time Nanny for an amazing, lovely family in Tufnell Park.
Currently studying a Masters degree in Arts Psychotherapy, I am looking for 1-2 days a week and open to some adhoc babysitting.
I'm a nanny for an amazing, lovely family in Tufnell Park and I also work for a charity part time where I deliver therapeutic arts intervention sessions with groups of children and teenagers in schools. I can care for and/or support children of all ages with a range of additional needs.
Other relevant experience below:
During the school closure lockdown, I did full time hours and home schooled a 5-year-old girl for three months which I absolutely loved. I really enjoy positively encouraging others with their ideas so I genuinely like nurturing children to create, play and explore the world.
I have worked within CAMHS where I supported weekly group arts therapy with the young people in a secure unit.
I’ve also worked with the Leeds Medical Needs Teaching Service where I lead art workshops within learning centres and within the general infirmary.
As well as doing one to one work on the wards, I also supported a teenage boy with autism, learning difficulties and behavioural issues.
Lastly, after being a part time carer myself at 11-years-old for my own family, I can cook lots of meals and continue to learn now. I absolutely love cooking and I see it as a truly beautiful expression of love and care. Whilst I enjoy cooking many meals, I love doing nutritious salads, and classic comfort foods like spaghetti Bolognese and Shephard's pie. I've also been vegetarian, vegan and dairy free in the past so I find it easy to cook things with dietary requirements and allergens in mind.
