About Me
My name is Kerrie Thomas, I am 49 years of age and I am married to Andrew. We have two boys of our own, George who is 17 & Ellis who is 23. Both our boys are well educated and have both attended Maidstone Boys Grammar School – George is currently in Sixth form & Ellis is an Optical Assistant.
We have two Yorkshire Terrier dogs who are brothers and are 16 years old, they both love a game and are extremely friendly. They are very good at alerting us when there is somebody at the door
They have their own space indoors should they need time on their own. They are still active and enjoy playing with a ball and having fun in our garden.
I offer a home from home surrounding as i like every child to feel secure, comfortable and safe when visiting our home. I plan educational activities daily to ensure that children develop to the best of their abilities.
We have a large garden with a small secure pond which I use as a learning area to teach the children about nature and wildlife – the pond is well established and has fish, frogs and newts.
I have my own car which is suitably insured for business use which enables me to explore the world around us with the children for example – zoo’s, parks, woodlands, beaches etc. These outings can be arranged with the appropriate parental consent.

I have previously worked with adults and children with severe learning disabilities and was extensively trained with several skills which included administering specialized medication, Epilepsy control and Challenging behaviour.
I have a significant understanding of Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Diabetes management.
