About Me
Hi! I'm Zainab, a nanny with 15 years' experience in childcare. I am an Ofsted registered nanny and qualified early years teacher (Outstanding graded). As a person, I am passionate about giving children the care they need to be happy, curious and resilient. I’m looking for a full-time or after-school position.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 15 years, first in childminding and nursery settings and as a Nursery Manager. I taught 4-6 year olds in Vietnam, before teaching online whilst traveling the world. I believe in empowering children with emotional resilience, facilitating their independence and sparking their curiosity. I enjoy working on a more personal level as a nanny and have several positive references from my previous families to account for this.
I'm trained in Montessori, Reggio Emilia and other schools of thought. I've also helped to manage a Forest School Nursery and love the freedom and gifts that outdoor learning provides young children with. What's most important though, is that kids are happy, confident and have a strong foundation of self-esteem. I am fluent in Urdu and can speak conversational Spanish. I studied Law at university and am always up for a challenge with homework! I enjoy cooking and am comfortable with laundry and related duties.
