Hi! I am Leanne, I'm 29 years old and I am originally from Kent but now live in Muswell Hill. I have been a professional singer/dancer/dance teacher/children's entertainer for nine years performing in lots of different shows around the world!
I am a kind, compassionate and sympathetic person with lots of energy and enthusiasm for fun and education! I am passionate about working with children and helping them to grow.
My Experience
I trained at The Young Americans College of Performing Arts in California, from 2009-2012. During my training I took part in the music outreach programme where we would travel to various towns and teach school children of all ages and backgrounds to sing and dance. Some schools were designed for children with special needs, which I found challenging yet exceptionally rewarding.
In between performing contracts I have worked for numerous companies as a dance and drama teacher for children of all ages, teaching ballet, tap, jazz, modern, singing, acting, stagecraft and musical theatre. Companies include Razzamatazz theatre schools, StageCoach, Platinum, The Panto Bus and Performing Arts.
My brother has four children aged from 2-15, all of whom I am extremely close with and have cared for and tutored over the years.
I feel I have gained invaluable knowledge and skills during my teaching experiences over the years and would love to put these into action again now!
My Qualifications
11 GCSEs - 6 A*s and 5 As
4 A levels in English Literature, Dance, Theatre Studies and Sociology - all A grades
