My Summary

My Experience

From being a primary teaching assistant (including working 1-to-1 with SEN pupils), running extra-curricular clubs for both primary and secondary children, and completing a degree at Loughborough University that centralised child development, my childcare experience is extensive and spans over the course of almost 10 years.

At the age of 14, I began working at a Saturday club teaching art to children aged 5-13. I did this for two years so it became second nature to be responsible for groups of children.
I also worked at a Holiday Club as a coach for 5 years, during which time I was promoted to supervisor due to my experience and quality in the role.

At university, I was employed to care for a woman with cerebral palsy, enhancing numerous skills that could be relevant to children with special needs. After I moved home from university, I worked as a teaching assistant in a local primary school which allowed me to utilise all the skills and qualifications I have gained over the years. I then worked in America for three months at a girls' summer camp where I created lifelong connections with some amazing children.

BSc degree from Loughborough University
I am DBS-checked
I have 9 GCSEs graded 9-6
I obtained an A* and two As in my A-Levels
I have been to several first Aid and Safeguarding courses

My Availability

I am currently looking for work in Guildford. I am based in Burpham but am willing to drive if necessary.
