I am a childminder in Clevedon and Yatton rated Outstanding June 2024
I am highly qualified and have 12 years experience in working in childcare with children 3months to 10years. I have a full range of references from parents, available at request.
I am a passionate and creative, working to provide home-based care individually tailored to families' needs. I strongly promote children’s individual learning styles and Personal, Social and Emotional focused teaching. I support children to be confident, resilient, to enjoy and thrive when taking on new challenges. My home is small, unique and hand designed for young people. I provide children opportunities to practise traditional, home-based skills, such as sewing, cooking, planting and growing fruit and vegetables. I work alongside two assistants. On Wednesday we are based at Yatton Village Hall, providing a large space for play set in the centre of the village. On Tuesday and Friday we are based at my home in Clevedon.
My Experience
I have 12 years childcare experience working in play and educational settings, including, leisure centres, children's centres, home and nursery settings. I have worked with children aged 3months-10years. Additionally, I have worked as nursey Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and a nursery Designated Safeguarding Lead. I have high level qualifications (Post graduate, NVQ level 6) and additional training.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.80 per hour
£63 per 8 hour day
£36.10 per 8 hour day (with funding)
The days fees Include two home cooked main meals (Lunch and Tea) (Two Courses)
Two snacks and water/milk
Note; all meals and snacks include alternatives to support dietary requirements.
We are also registered to the Tax Free Government Scheme
