About Me
Hi I'm Debbie,
I'm a fully qualified and registered childminder, mummy of 2 and dog mum to our amazing Labrador Retriever Freddie.
I will organise fun and entertaining educational activities for your child in a secure and contented environment, before, during or after the school day. I live with my partner who is also my ofsted registered assistant, he loves all the children and helps out with school runs and mealtimes etc.
I'm extremely passionate about my work, I have a BA honours in Early years, Diploma in Childcare in Education and 20+ years’ experience working with infants with special needs at both Alder Hey Childrens Hospital and Zoe’s Place, I have a personable and empathetic approach of tending to your child’s needs.
My Setting is located in L15 Wavertree, off Mill Lane.
My Experience
I first worked as a nursery nurse at Zoes Place Baby hospice and Sure Start Ferries Day nursery after completing my Nursery Nurse Diploma, my role included looking after babies and young children under 5 and children with special needs and complex medical needs.
I then continued my childcare career at Dingle Lane Children Centre based at Matthew Arnold primary school working as a family link worker for 7 years running various baby and toddler groups, including; stay and play, baby massage and yoga, baby babble music and storytime sessions.
For the 8 years after that i worked at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital as a specialist carer looking after children on long term life support with complex medical needs, within their home, nursery/school and hospital.
My Qualifications
Qualified Childminding.
Degree level qualified in Early years and education.
Diploma in Childcare and Education.
GNVQ Advanced Health and Social Care.
Paediatric First Aid, Resus training.
Safeguarding children
Baby Yoga
Listening together - Building Blocks Language course.
Breastfeeding training
Healthy eating.
Dental health.
Tracheostomy trained.
Care of a ventilated child.
Gastostomy feeding trained.
My Availability
Opening time 8am-5:30pm
availability for January 2024, waiting list is open for Summer 2024. Deposit required to secure place.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£40 a day
+£2.50 a day for 7:45am start
I don’t offer pick up/drop off service. Also no term time places.

My 3 year old has been going to Debbie for a few months. She absolutely loves her and so do I. I wanted a home away from home for her after the disruption of Covid on her nursery schedule, I felt she would benefit from socialisation with children her own age after spending 6 months off with me working from home (nightmare!) I shouldn't of worried my daughter idolises her and gets so excited going to her on her designated days.
Debbie is very hands on and nothing is too much trouble. She is very flexible and accommodating which basically means if you need her she is there-- in a very professional but caring way! Can not recommend her enough.
