About Me
Having worked as a Teaching Assistant for over 12 years in Primary Schools I'm happy to offer my experience with children from 2 years upwards.
My school experience is mainly Early Years based, but I also spent considerable time in KS1 and KS2.
I own my own car and am willing to travel within the Borders area. I am qualified to Level 3 CACHE.
My Experience
I qualified in 2007 as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at New College Durham. I have worked in various Primary settings but settled in a Primary school in County Durham working predominantly in the Early Years Unit.
I thrive on helping young children learn through play and over the years I have developed many ideas and experiences which I can call upon. Ultimately, I think children are natural learners, they just need the right person to spend time with, to help them achieve their full potential, in a fun, creative environment.
I live in the Scottish Borders and would like to continue working with children of all ages to help them achieve their full potential.
