About Me
Hello, my name is Karen, I'm 53 year old registered childminder. I offer a warm, safe and loving home from home environment for all children. I live very close to Julian's primary school (Streatham site). We are a 10 minute walk from Streatham Hill station or a few minutes on the 417, also only a 10 minute walk from West norwood Station. I live with my lovely husband and 3 wonderful children. My children are 11, 13 and 18 years of age.
I absolutely love being with children and watching them grow and develop into happy and confident little individuals.
I provide lots of stimulating activities for the children to do including arts and crafts, music, singing and lots of books for story time. I also like to plan outdoor activities these usually involve trips to the park/woods /playground/museums and the library for wriggle and rhyme time.
I provide healthy meals and snacks
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 30 years . I first worked in a nursery in Liverpool before nannying in Canada and Australia. When I came back from Australia I moved to London and continued nannying. I became an Ofsted registered childminder 6 years ago.
I was graded Good at my first Ofsted inspection
