My Summary
About Me
I am a mum to 2 children and offer a family centred home from home childcare setting. I follow a child focused learning approach following the interests of the children to build skills and encourage development.
We spend lots of time outside exploring the local parks, going for walks and also enjoy adventures away from the setting especially during the school holidays! We enjoy seeing our friends from other settings at regular childminding groups (current guidelines permitting) as well as meeting for play dates outside too.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in a variety of education and childcare roles including teaching assistant, play worker, play leader and nursery nurse.
My Qualifications
I am level 3 qualified in early years education and also hold paediatric first aid and safeguarding training as well as regularly updating my knowledge with other courses. I have recently completed a children’s mental health awareness course and constantly review my training needs to ensure my knowledge stays both up to date and relevant.
My Availability
I am open 8:00-17:30 Monday to Friday
I take 5 weeks holiday a year spread across the year and publish my holiday dates in January each year for the year ahead.
