My Summary

My Experience

I attended college studying both an NC and HNC in childcare. Throughout this time I attended several practical placements in both a primary and nursery setting providing me with experience in caring for children from 0-6.

I also have experience previously volunteering at a local toddlers group caring for children up to the age of 5.

I previously worked as a Play and youth leader for children aged from 0 all the way up to teenage years. My role was to provide emotional support to children and plan and carry out fun activities including crafts, safe messy play and music time. I also have experience of working with children with additional support needs and have completed training in makaton.

I recently worked in a nursery as a support worker. My role was to provide care and support for children aged from 0-5, prepare snack and serve lunches, changing nappies and toilet training, providing educational activities for children and engaging with families/carers.

I currently work as a nanny/mother’s help. My role is to provide care for the children as required, prepare snacks, helping around the house with housekeeping, ironing etc, any other tasks.

My Qualifications

I currently hold an NC in early education and childcare.
I have also completed online courses in safeguarding children, safer sleeping for babies and working with children with disabilities.

I have my paediatric first aid qualification and food hygiene.

I have completed training in makaton, play and mental health.

Registered with the SSSC and have an up to date first aid qualification (updated in January 2024)

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
