About Me
I am a 23 year old with 5+ years of childcare experience (Level 3 OCN Nanny Qualification), Psychology degree from the University of Surrey and am also an athlete (swimmer).
I am outgoing, caring and I absolutely love children. I am very comfortable with all ages - I am quite a maternal person and have good instincts when it comes to childcare. I also have a young nephew who I have watched grow and learnt a lot from regarding how to effectively care for children, along with various experience and qualifications. My Experience
I have had 5 years of childcare experience, and have helped many families with varying needs, from newborns to teenagers. I have worked privately and at events, and have had work experience in a primary school as my mum is a teacher. I have also taught and coached children of all ages in swimming, and have worked at a children’s summer camp in America as a camp counsellor and swimming teacher.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 OCN nannying qualification. I also have a child welfare and a first-aid qualification, and am DBS checked to show I can safely work with children. I have a BSc in Psychology, and am also a fully qualified swimming teacher and swimming coach. I also have nanny insurance. I am happy to send any documents required.
My Availability
I am moving to Australia after Christmas so am looking for temporary/ad hoc work between now and then.

Tegan is a lovely young lady and our 6 year old and baby both loved being around her. We needed a Mother's Help for the recovery period after an operation and Tegan helped with everything from changing nappies, to filling the dishwasher, and doing the school run. It was the first time that we have used someone that we don't know to look after our children, but she immediately put us at ease and was great with the kids. I really hope that when lockdown has ended, she will be able to babysit for us and I know that my boys will look forward to seeing her again!
Overall
Tegan babysat my 2 years old daughter, she is responsible, sweet and very friendly. She played and read lots of stories to my daughter. I definitely recommend her.

Tegan is really friendly, calm and flexible! She is very easy to deal with - My daughters (8&10) really liked her and asked to have her again! I have no hesitation in recommending her and definitely will ask if she can come again!. 😀
