I am a friendly, bright, and confident young woman, with a degree in Psychology (graduating with a 2:1 across all modules and in my dissertation which was a study of child language development). I am hard-working, and committed to roles I find myself in! With a willingness to discipline where appropriate but a light-hearted and fun approach to most things I do - I am an ideal candidate for babysitting, and am happy to offer nannying services as well as education/homework support.
My Experience
Since the age of 16 I have been a reliable babysitter for 3 separate families, the most recent being for 12 months in 2021, and have volunteered during my summer and Christmas breaks as a classroom support assistant in primary schools, working with children aged between 5 and 9. I have studied child development extensively through my psychology degree, as well as volunteering through university as a ReachOut mentor in a year 5 classroom, aiding students with personal and academic development. I have had DBS checks as recently as 2021 but would be willing to further update if necessary. My Qualifications
As of February 2022 I have achieved a Distinction level MA in Media Sociology, an Upper Second Class (2:1) degree qualification in Psychology (BSc, Hons), as well as 3 A-Levels (History, Philosophy, and Psychology) and 9 GCSEs (English, Maths, Triple Science, History, Spanish and Graphics), all at A*-A level.
My Availability
I am available for all weekday evenings (from 6pm Mondays and Tuesday, 4:30 all other days) and some weekends, and will let any clients know of potential holidays etc. as early as possible. I am currently available for school drop off/before school hours, and cannot commit to a regular weekend schedule at present.
