My Summary
About Me
We now offer funded places for 2,3 & 4 year olds.
I am a level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner with 3+ years experience of working with young children in a nursery setting, as well as having 15 years experience of being a mum, friend, (and teacher!) to three children. I am Ofsted registered and offer a nurturing ‘home from home’ environment for children aged 0-4. I have a wonderful garden room and large garden that has been carefully designed to encourage children to learn independently in a safe and supportive environment that promotes equality and diversity.
The vision to establish my own childcare setting comes from raising my children and from my nursery work experience where I quickly realised that many children would benefit from a smaller setting. I believe that one to one attention is invaluable although often impossible in larger nurseries. Fast forward to now and seeing the challenges of Covid on society, on children and childcare in particular, has given me the extra push to launch Little Londoners Childcare Limited.
My aim is simple - to provide a safe, fun and educational environment where children can be children and where they can flourish. I firmly believe that children learn through play and activities that are planned according to their individual development, interests and needs.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage structure. I provide lots of fun activities, experiences and resources to meet the childrens individual needs. I provide a good balance between free and structured play and the activities change as children develop.
I have a dedicated space that is inspiring and uncluttered so that children can explore and create. I have a good range of materials that children can engage with, including loose parts such as bricks and blocks and natural resources such as twigs and acorns (and the odd dinosaur!) - all carefully curated to allow little imaginations to run free. At no extra cost but Covid-19 restrictions and availability dependant I also provide extra curricular sessions such as yoga, ballet, music and languages. Most of these activities can be done indoors or out. My garden is walled/fenced in, has a decked area, an artificial lawn which promotes play all year around and a covered area to shelter from sun or rain.
I provide healthy, nutritious, home cooked (and familiar!) meals using fresh ingredients that promote long term healthy eating. The menu includes a variety of food and drink whilst covering the 4 food groups each day to ensure a good balance of nutrients.
My Ethos
I want children to flourish. My Ethos is therefore simple to treat every child as if they were my own - with respect, compassion and sensitivity. I embrace equality and individuality and value strong relationships with parents and guardians.

3+ years working with Pre-Schoolers in a nursery setting as well as 13 years experience of being a mum to three children ages 15,13 and 12.

Our little boy has been attending Little Londoners since January 2022 and we could not be more happy with the care he receives there. As soon as we met Ash, her husband Chet and saw the facilities they were offering, we knew instantly that this was the childcare setting we wanted for our son.
Ash is welcoming, organised and truly excellent at her job and we feel like we're leaving our son with family when he goes to her. We are constantly amazed by the thoughtful, innovative, educational but fun activities that she does with the children, and we are updated about our son's wellbeing several times through the day.
Since attending, our little one has become more confident and has learnt so many new skills that he wouldn't have done at a nursery (a larger, less personal setting) or if he was just with me (I don't have the patience or facilities to do half the things he does at Little Londoners). The purpose built and spacious facilities are beautiful, clean and modern and not only do the children have fun, but they learn through play (which is thoughtfully planned by Ash, following the national curriculum) and don't even realise they're learning because they're having such a good time!
This setting is so unique as it has the one-to-one feeling of a standard childminders, but it also has the facilities, space and equipment of a nursery. Not only does Ash have an array of beautiful toys, but she is constantly updating her educational, learn as you play equipment that I didn't even know existed!
The food that the children receive is outstanding. It is thoughtfully planned and expertly cooked by Chet, Ash's husband and every day I say how lucky my son is to be able to sample this food. Chet goes above and beyond to make sure the food is cooked FULLY from scratch and my son can't get enough.
My husband and I feel so lucky to have met Ash and Chet. You couldn't meet nicer, more generous people who deeply care about every family they work with. We highly recommend Little Londoners.

Finding Ash & Chet (Little Londoners) has been the biggest blessing we could ever have hoped for. Needing to find childcare was so daunting and we dreaded leaving our little one with a stranger.
From our very first visit to their setting we felt the instant warmth, fun, professionalism and reassurance that we was looking for. We fell in love with who they were and what they could offer our little one and knew that it had to be them and no one else.
Other settings that we looked at didn’t compare to Little Londoners at all. The space that they have built is truly amazing. The quality and size means that our little one can learn and play in a safe space with a wide variety of toys and equipment.
The food offered is fantastic. Our little one is a picky eater but since attending Little Londoners they have started to try new foods and if they don’t want what is being offered an alternative is always provided meaning that they are never hungry or go without.
The care that Ash, Chet and their amazing staff show is a god send.
We receive constant updates on how our little one is doing throughout the day as well as at the end of the day. These updates give us the peace of mind we desperately wanted and we do not need to worry about our little one at all.
To know that our little one absolutely loves them and is always learning new things is all we ever wanted. Our little ones speech has improved so much thanks to the love, care and support that they have shown.
My husband and I cannot thank Ash and Chet enough for welcoming us into their home and giving our little one the start to life.
All parents want to give their children the absolute best in life and with Ash, Chet and their amazing team (Little Londoners) that is exactly what you give your children
THE ABSOLUTE BEST

When looking at childcare after being on maternity leave for two years I was nervous to leave both my girls (age 2&3) but boy am I glad I shopped around. After viewing 4 different nurseries and not liking any of them, all my prayers were answered when I found Ash and Chet. The most amazing care given and both my girls absolutely adore Ash and Chet. Each day is fun filled with activities and the food is amazing, so much variety. Ash’s assistants, Jo, Farhat and Poppy are equally fantastic. I 100% trust and feel safe in the knowledge that my children are looked after with the best care. I couldn’t recommend highly enough x

I visited 8 nurseries in the area when I was looking for childcare for my baby and I can honestly say Little Londoners is leagues above them all. What first struck me is the unique setup - you have all the benefits of a childminders in that it's a smaller, personal setting (rather than a bigger nursery where you don't really know who's looking after your child), but with all the benefits of a nursery in that there are brand new facilities and fun, engaging activities. I'm genuinely taken aback on a daily basis by how much effort Ash puts into the themed days and creative activities (they did a mini Christmas concert, bauble making and yoga this week!). The food is also amazing - this week they've had a Christmas dinner, risotto, quesadillas, katsu curry, to name a few.
However, by far the best part of Little Londoners is Ash and Chet. They are genuinely two of the loveliest people and I trust them implicitly with my child (and that's not something I say lightly). Ash is so knowledgeable about children's development and has vast experience working in nurseries; and Chet ensures all the kids have healthy, nutritious meals. What I love, though, is that they treat your child like their own - I feel like I'm dropping my daughter with a second 'family' every day.
Like most first time mums, I was very anxious when I went back to work, but I can honestly say sending my daughter to Little Londoners is one of the best decisions I've made. The most important thing for me is feeling that my child is loved and cared for when I'm not there - I can say hands down that she gets this, as well as lots of 1-1 attention, at Little Londoners. I can't thank Chet and Ash (and Poppy, Jo and Farhat who help out) enough for everything they've done and the way they care for the children they look after. I can't speak highly enough about Little Londoners and 100% recommend them to anyone looking for childcare.

I am lucky to have Ash in my life. She looked after & taught my eldest with so much love, that my daughter still loves spending time with her. Her childcare setting is clean, well organised, smart, with a great variety of toys. Her gentle teaching ethos is full of fun, aiding the kid’s personality & moulding to offer them education & play in a homely safe environment. Her food is varied & delicious (I’ve tried it, lol). Her communication skills are on point. I highly recommend Ash & the Little Londoners Childcare setting
