My Summary
About Me
Dear parents,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Tina, I’m 30 years old and live in Farnham. Originally I’m from Germany and I speak German and English fluently. I’m an ex competitive swimmer and swimming is still a big hobby of mine. I also love everything outdoors/nature, I’m a big animal lover and like to read.
My Experience
I would like to give you an overview of my experience of working with children.
I have been looking after children since the age of 12 – I started helping my mother by looking after my younger brother, I also did a lot of babysitting in our neighborhood and worked as a full-time nanny in the UK from 2016 to 2018 which the children and I enjoyed a lot.
In England, with two lovely kids (a boy and a girl, five and eight years old), I became a bit of an anglophile - so, after the kids moved away, I stayed in England to work until March 2019.
Then, I moved back to Germany, where I've been looking after a newborn and a toddler while their parents were looking for nursery places.
I love being a nanny because every day is different. While we do have routines, I love the flexibility to be able to go out on a new adventure every day. Learning and exploring the world through the eyes of a child are truly the best and no two days of growing are the same.
I loved helping Luca and Sophia (UK children) with their homework, making fun lessons to keep them interested, and I love coming up with creative activities for kids and watching them develop and grow.
A few highlights of my qualifications include:
· Developing and leading creative activities for children between 0 and 13 years of age, to promote the development of physical, social, and emotional skills.
· Providing and encouraging activities and opportunities to stimulate curiosity, exploration, and problem solving to meet each child’s development levels.
· Communicating effectively with children parents and coworkers.
I moved back to England in December 2020. My last job as a nanny was only temporary and I have recently left my job as a Nanny and wish to pursue a career working with children. The nursery and primary school age group is particularly appealing to me, because students are very impressionable, interested in learning, and open to new concepts.
Since then I have worked as an Early Years Practitioner at a nursery in Godalming.
I feel confident that I hold strong communication skills and firm commitment to learning. I would like the opportunity to work closely with children to help them develop and progress further up the curriculum.
I have experience in tending to the needs and care of children as I have worked as a full time Nanny several years. During this time I was held responsible for the care and wellbeing of children aged 0 – 13.
I can offer my personal interactive skills, an eagerness to learn and my dedication. I am confident that this would make me an excellent candidate for this position.
I look forward to hearing from you with a possible interview date. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. In addition, I have artistic and computer skills that will be an asset when developing class projects.
I have strong communication skills in both English and German (my mother tongue), I am energetic, enthusiastic, and diligent.
I have an up to date DBS certificate and took part in a full paediatric first aid session (last on in 10/2021). I’m also registered on the DBS update service and happy to do another first aid session before starting a new job.
I´m also happy to bring my letters of recommendation to an interview or send them via E-Mail to you.
Thank you for your consideration; I look forward to speaking with you soon.
