My Summary

My Experience

I have lots of experience working with children of all ages in various settings.

0-5 years old: I currently work in the mornings as a teaching assistant in Hebden Bridge working with the nursery and reception students. In this role, I primarily support a student with autism.

5-11 years old: I have volunteered as a classroom assistant at Shire Oaks Primary School in Leeds in year 3, helping children with their reading, writing and numeracy. I also took part in leading forest school sessions. I have taught philosophy sessions to primary school students in Leeds as part of my Philosophy degree where I planned and delivered weekly sessions. I have also taught debating after school sessions both in person and virtually. As well as this, I have instructed dancing sessions to Brownie groups.

11-16 years old: I led weekly debating clubs for students in Leeds and took them to national competitions. I have taught philosophy in secondary schools across West Yorkshire as part of the National Collaborations Outreach Project. I was a Public Speaking Coach on the NCS summer programme in 2018, facilitating 70 young people. I have taught dancing to Girl Guide groups.

2020 - MA Philosophy from the University of Leeds

My Availability

I am available from 1:30 Monday-Friday. I have occasional weekend availability.

My Fees
