About Me
Hi, my name is Julie. I am an OFSTED registered childminder graded Good. I am registered to offer funded hours.
I live in a semi-detached house in a residential road in Reigate. My home is within walking distance of bus routes. Local playgrounds, playgroups and schools are also within walking distance.
I have a downstairs playroom especially built for childminding. A light, airy room with child- sized seating and a huge selection of toys and books, the playroom offers a safe and comfortable space to play.
The outside area comprises of a large, purpose built patio area with a play house, ride- on cars and dolls pushchairs. The grass area is laid with artificial grass, allowing for play all year round.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 31 years, so have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge with regards to childminding. Over the years, I have cared for over forty children from all different backgrounds; many of whom began coming to the setting at three months old and left the setting as they started school.
I have a level four qualification and an up to date first aid certificate.
My Qualifications
I have attended many different workshops and seminars over the last 31 years, gaining a breadth of knowledge of childminding in the early years. All my certificates are displayed in my profile book for current and prospective parents to view.
As mentioned before, I have gained a level four qualification in Early Years Practice through the Open University. I also have NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare, as well as certificates in food hygiene, safeguarding children and early years first aid.
My Availability
I am available from 07.30 until 17.00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I do not provide weekend or overnight care.
I will have vacancies for Tuesday

We have just finished our time with Julie after our daughter was with her 3 days a week from the age of 1 until 3 and we are so grateful for all she has done. Julie creates a safe, loving, fun environment that has helped our daughter to flourish in to confident, caring and polite little human. We knew Julie would be fab because she looked after our niece and nephew so can see her consistently brilliant skills in caring and educating young children. She formed a really special bond with our daughter and we always felt comfortable knowing that Julie would provide carefully planned and fun activities. Would recommend Julie to anyone, she's just brilliant.

4 years ago I remember reading reviews and I couldn't understand why people felt so sad about the transition from Julie to school.
I can now fully resonate with these parents.
Julie has provided our son with a fun, loving, safe and caring environment from 9 months to 4 years, providing a variety of days out and activities I would never think of during the pandemic and rainy days!
This is balanced so well with clear boundaries and educational needs, all delivered in such a calm way, which my son responds very well to.
We know that 'ju ju' has played a huge part in the little boy our son has become today and we will be forever grateful.
Julie's communication is fantastic, her reassurance with any tears at drop off is great and she captures the most beautiful photos!
We couldn't ask for any more and we cannot recommend her enough.
We are all really going to miss her.

My daughter has been looked after by Julie for three days a week, for the past 4 years. She started with Julie at 9 months old, and is leaving now to start school.
I honestly don’t think we could have found anyone better. Julie is so good with children, managing to blend fun activities with learning, but also with clear boundaries. Her home is lovely and well equipped for childcare. She often takes the children out to playgroups, the park etc, so they have varied activities. My daughter has throughly enjoyed going to Julie’s every week, and is going to miss her so much. I may be slightly biased, but I think I have a lovely, caring, confident 4.5 year old, and Julie has played a big part in shaping her into the lovely girl she is now. We will all miss seeing her every week!

Our daughter has been with Julie for the past 2 years and we highly recommend her.
We didn’t tell Julie this until now, but within our house we refer to her as Mary Poppins. She manages to find the perfect balance of fun, learning and boundaries.
I have been able to go to work and be confident that our daughter is not only being well looked after, but also having opportunities to take part in varied activities both indoors and outdoors, with Julie sending photo updates during the day.
Our daughter is always happy and excited to go to Julies house and you can’t ask for more than that.

Julie has been looking after my daughter for over 2 years from when she was 1 years old and I couldn't be happier with her care.
My daughter has grown into a very polite, happy girl and is always talking about her days at Julie's and is always excited to go back. Julie is also very nurturing, and it is very clear that my daughter is very comfortable and settled there, which she has been from the start.
The setting at Julie's is brilliant, and she also takes the children out to toddler groups and outings to places like soft play, farms and to see Father Christmas which I think is a lovely touch.
I cannot recommend Julie enough!

Both of my children have been looked after by Julie and I could not be happier with her care (and I am very fussy). Julie is nurturing and caring and both of my children have been so happy with her. The activities that Julie provides are varied and exciting; from arts and crafts to visits to the theatre. It is very clear that Julie has a passion for childminding and she always ensures that the atmosphere at her house is welcoming and warm. If you are looking for a childminder then your search ends her. Julie will tick all the boxes!

Julie made a real effort to get to know my daughter right from the start and they have a lovely relationship. I always feel that my daughter is so well taken care of and that all of her needs are sensitively met. Julie takes care to really notice her engagement and achievements too. I really cannot recommend Julie highly enough and thank her for all the effort she continues to make to ensure my daughter's well-being and happiness.
