Hi, I'm Sue Oscroft. I run Monkey Business Childminding which is an Ofsted registered childminding service . I live in West Melton/Wath-Upon-Dearne in Rotherham. I live with my husband in a detached house with a secure garden containing a wide variety of play equipment and have a grassed area with play equipment just behind my garden.I also have two small dogs.
My setting provides a range of fun and educational toys and resources and we use my garden on a regular basis. I take the children to play groups, soft play, parks and country parks on a regular basis to ensure the children have opportunities to play with a larger group of children and to give them a range of different opportunities.
I offer 15/30 hours funded childcare/ early education places to eligible children and also accept tax free childcare payments.
My Experience
I have been working as a childminder since 2011 and have looked after children aged 0 to 12. I am qualified as a teacher where I have looked after and taught children 3 to 11 (including the Early Years Foundation Stage). I have also brought up 3 children of my own so I have experience of children right from birth to adulthood.
My Qualifications
Formal qualifications:-
B.A. degree, Post Graduate Certificate of Education(PGCE), O levels and A levels.
Childminding qualifications:-
Paediatric First Aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and EYPDP (Early Years Professional Development Programme)
My Availability
I am available from 7.45 am until 5.15 pm Tuesday to Friday.
