My Summary
About Me
Available immediately.
I’m a degree level qualified, Ofsted registered home child carer with over 16 years childcare experience altogether.
I have nannied for the past 7 years for 3 separate families. Previously, I have worked in nurseries and a SEN children’s home with teenagers. I have always worked with children and I love it!
I also currently work as a youth intervention officer part-time alongside my full time job one evening a week delivering guidance and support to young people at risk.
I’m originally from Derby and have lived in Manchester for 7 years now.
I love being creative. Drawing, painting, crafts and singing are my favourite things to do with children!
I have experience with multiples. One of my families had twin girls (who I cared for since 8 weeks old).
I have nannied for children aged 8 weeks - 11 years old.
When working in nurseries, I was promoted up to deputy manager. I was responsible for overseeing the ‘younger side’ of the nursery. Some days this meant caring for 17 babies! So babies and toddlers are my specialty.
I’m a warm, caring and friendly person and children love me!
I’m lots of fun whilst also setting firm boundaries when need be.
I love animals. I own a dog and love cats too, so I’m more than happy to take care of your pets at the same time!
I’m the super nanny you need!
CV available on request.
My Experience
I worked in nurseries since graduating with a BaHons in Childhood studies in 2010. I quickly progressed to leadership roles.
I then moved on to work in a care home for young people aged 11-19 with ASD.
I then relocated to Manchester and became a nanny for 2 lovely families. I was with these families for 5 years. Then, due to moving house, I had to find alternative work. I nannied for a lovely family with 1 little boy for the last 2 years.
My work has included caring for newborn twins.
I’ve also done housekeeping work for the families throughout my employment. Washing, cooking, cleaning, ironing and feeding the cats!
