Hi, I'm Clare. I'm 33, originally from Brighton but am now a final year medical student in Swansea. I'm free for regular or ad hoc childcare. I'm fully DBS checked and very reliable. I have a full, clean driving licence. I enjoy music, swimming and a good book! In my free time I enjoy the gym, I love to cook/bake and I help to run a couple of university medical societies - including the Teddy Bear Hospital, helping to get children interested in science! I'm level-headed and down to earth, I like to think I'm very caring, sensible but also fun-loving. I'm also very happy to wear a mask/PPE around your children if you would feel more comfortable with me doing so. Happy to help woth academic tutoring too!
My Experience
Having recently left my job in A&E, am qualified in basic paediatric life support, safeguarding children and young adults Level 3, as well as having all my basic health and safety training. I have four nieces and nephews and two godchildren, all 10 and under and I am well-practiced at entertaining, feeding, bathing, helping with homework and all other general parenting tasks without actually being a parent! Additionally, my role as a HCA in A&E has equipped me well for dealing with any minor injuries, bumps, bruises and those scared or lonely tears. I also have previous experience in working with autistic and special needs children On a voluntary basis.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations, five A-Levels, nine GCSEs, speak fluent English and as stated - am currently in my second year of studying on the graduate-entry-medicine course.
My Availability
Generally, afternoons, evenings and weekends are my available hours. There may be the occasional mornings where I can help before 8:30 - my university lectures tend to start at 9am although a lot is being done remotely at present. I haven't ticked weekday mornings on my availability list but if it's once in a while or a set morning once a week/every other week - feel free to ask. If I can help, then I'll be glad to.
**update - I finish for Summer on 14th June so free all the time from then!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £15.00 per hour
All I ask is that you compensate any travel/mileage if you live beyond a five mile radius (30p per mile)
