About Me
My name is Carol and I have been a registered childminder since 2000. I live with my two grown up children, a boy and a girl. My house is child friendly and is suitable for children of all ages to freely move around. Over the years I have gained experience from the various children that I have cared for. Not all children develop at the same rate and each child in my care is treated as an individual whilst at the same time making them part of a caring inclusive environment which brings all children together.
My Experience
I have been registered as a childminder since 2000 and have cared for children of all ages from 4 months to aged 4 We attend playgroups during the week where the children get the opportunity to interact with other children learning social skills. During the year we have days out to various places. I have a varied range of toys and equipment to suit children of all ages and a large garden where the children can play.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development
Paediatric First Aid Training
Safeguarding and Child Protection
Food Hygiene and also registered with the Environmental Health Department
My Availability
My working hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, and flexible hours can be discussed. I don't have any spaces available at the moment (July 2024), but it's always worth dropping me a message. If you wish to send me a message with your requirements, if I am unable to help, then I may be able to pass your details to another childminder who may have a space.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My fees are £5.50 per hour for full time care (full time is 7 hours a day and 4 days a week) and this includes all healthy snacks and drinks. Rates for any other cover can be discussed upon making an enquiry. I also offer funded places for all eligible children over 9 months old.
If there are any special dietary requirements parents will need to provide appropriate food and drink as required. All children may bring along their own lunch/tea. This can be cold finger food or food that can be warmed in the microwave.

I'm very happy I found Carol to look after my little one, I never had to worry about him. My son had fantastic time at Carol's place, enjoyed toys, arts and crafts, walks and trips, picnics in the garden and so much more. Carol has lovely place and big heart for children. She helped us a lot and I cannot thank her enough.

Carol started looking after my 2 year old son when he was just starting at nursery, Carol was very accommodating to his nursery timetable and helped with my transition back into work by dropping him off and picking him up as well as looking after him for full days when he didn’t have nursery. My son loved his time with Carol and enjoyed telling me what activities they got up to and was always making lovely crafts with her which he enjoyed. Carol has a wonderful set up for young children. My son loved her huge selection of toys. My son enjoyed trips out with Carol. Carol is a lovely childminder and a very kind person, who helped me and my family a lot.

Carol has looked after my daughter from 18 months old and I would highly recommend her - my daughter is very happy with her. She visits local toddler groups, does various art and crafts and singing. They also go out and about and do normal things like go shopping which I think is very important for my daughter to see.
Carol has a very nice home and does lots of home cooked food. She has taught my daughter much better manners than she was learning at home!
