My Summary

My Experience

I worked as a teaching assistant in a year 3 class before starting my degree. I have been on placement in various year groups throughout my degree where I teach all subjects to primary age children. I spend my summers working at a sleep away camp in America for children aged 7-16. Here I am responsible for ensuring the children have fun and are safe at activities and in the bunk. I have experience as an au pair in Haarlem, Netherlands for 3 months where I helped take care of 3 children age 5, 6 and 9. My roles there included getting the children ready and taking them to school, helping around the house and then looking after the children after school, cooking dinner and taking them to after school clubs.
I am also an ASA level 1 and 2 swim teacher and have 4 years of swim teaching experience which I love (swimming is my favourite hobby!). I have taught children age 4-14.
I childminded for a family in brighton while completing my degree. I managed the children’s busy schedules and looked after them multiple days and nights at a time.

First class primary education degree
11 GCSEs 9-6 including maths and English
3 A-levels A-C
ASA level 1 and 2 swim teaching
