About Me
I'm a fluent English speaking, professional nanny, who has lived in the UK for over 20 years. I was born in Germany and raised in Hungary and I am fluent in both languages.
I have over 15 years' sole charge experience caring for children from new-born to 6 years old. I'm warm and friendly, honest and punctual, I have a happy disposition and I’m very energetic and have plenty of initiative. I have a genuine passion to work with children and supporting families. I am happy to do all child related duties from attending playgroups, museums, parks and managing play dates. I enjoy preparing healthy, delicious meals and snacks for the children in my care. I love looking after children and watching their daily development, it’s the most rewarding feeling in the world to know that I am helping them turn into happy and healthy little people.
I know how hard it can be for parents to leave their precious ones with a nanny, but you can be sure that I will treat them as if they were my own child, always looking out for their needs and providing a fun, safe, nurturing environment in which they can thrive. I even document our days with photos and a little diary, so that you never have to feel like you're missing out on any special moments.

Marika has been flawless with our daughter, whom she began nannying in September 2023 at the age of six months. Marika has been an extension of our family for a year now and I cannot recommend her more highly. Marika helped our daughter to sleep train in a calm and caring fashion, her help and advice with weaning was crucial, not to mention the daily encouragements, attending baby classes, and keeping her active and engaged throughout the day. Marika has enormous attention to detail, and is a fantastic listener. She is patient and quick to connect and has a real gift for nurturing both babies and toddlers. We are so thankful to have found Marika; she was such an integral part of our daughter’s early life. We will miss her greatly as our daughter moves on to nursery.

Marika is a kind, capable and fun lady who understand the find line between being an employee and being part of the family. She cared for my kids on a full time basis when they were a few weeks old and 2 years old. I know her whole family who are just lovely! Fast forward 10 years…and we are still in touch. She babysits for my kids regularly - she often brings art and craft supplies which my kids love! They ask me to go out as much as possible so Marika can come over. She’s completely trustworthy, respectful of my home, great at both the fun element and setting clear boundaries with my kids, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a top notch reliable and honest nanny / babysitter.
