Hello, welcome to Ray Ray’s House childminding, Royal Wotton Bassett.
My name is Rachel, I am a Ofsted’s registered childminder. I have 3 children of my own (2 in secondary and 1 in primary)..
I am committed to supporting your child as they develop their curiosity and imaginations in a fun, home from home environment.

My Experience
I have worked in childcare and within the NHS all of my career. Working In Nursery schools. I ran an infants music group and movement group. Worked on maternity and the Neonatal intensive care unit (SCBU). Most recently I have been working in perinatal mental health, supporting new mothers with bonding and attachment during the pre/postnatal period when the mothers mental health is the most vulnerable.
Moving into Childminding has allowed me to continue to support family’s while focusing on what I love, helping children with their early development and emotional intelligence, to help build healthy happy future adults x

What can I say, Rachel’s setting really is the best. From the minute we viewed Rachel and her setting we knew this was where our little boy would go.
He has been going since he was 18 months old and started school in September and because of the home from home environment it was the only place I was going to send him after school.
Rachel has been flexible and helped me through change of job/hours and been able to accommodate us every time.
The whole family really are the best and my son is very fond of them all x

Rachel has been looking after both my boys (3 and 6) for a few years now and creates such a warm and loving environment really integrating the kids into her own gorgeous family!
I had never used a childminder before and was honestly a bit nervous but my boys loved it. She is really led by the children with lots of fun activities and trips out but what I love so much is she also recognises when the kids need a bit of chill time with a movie or cosmic yoga. The home from home environment that is created fosters great relationships and I am very grateful x

From day 1 “Ray Ray” and her family have been lovely and welcoming. Our daughter has no issues at drop off which was one of my biggest concerns, and seems to feel so at home in the environment. She manages to nap and eats well there too. We love the updates and our daughter loves the various trips and activities too. Couldn’t have asked for a better childcare setting.

Rachel, or Ray Ray as she is called to the children has been amazing. Having to go back to work just 3 months after having my daughter, I could not have found a more lovely person to look after her. My daughter smiles everytime i drop her off and with collection i get one in return. It has made leaving her worry free as Rachel is a truly amazing person with the childrens needs her full priority. I would highly recommend and love how welcoming she has been to us.

Rachael is incredibly attentive, nurturing, and creative, always engaging our child with fun and educational activities. Her warm and caring nature makes our boy feel right at home. We have complete peace of mind knowing he is in such capable and loving hands. Highly recommend!
