About Me
Hello my name is Georgina and I am an OFSTED registered childminder in Epsom.
I live with my husband Tony, our daughter (born April 2015) and our son (born October 2021).
I previously worked as a nanny for a wonderful family, but since having my son I decided to start a new adventure as a childminder. I have always been passionate about the education and development of young children, so I provide a ‘home from home’ environment where children are nurtured, feel safe and have heaps of fun whilst following the EYFS guidelines.
I love being outdoors and with Horton Park, Hobbledown and Epsom Common nearby we do lots of outdoor activities, such as nature trails, scavenger hunts and, of course, puddle splashing. We also visit the local community, such as the library and the toddler groups in our area to extend children’s cultural capital. When at home I follow the children’s interests and provide fun activities and crafts to help progress their learning. I have set themes which I change every couple of weeks to extend children’s learning and use these to work on next steps and personal targets
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny for 2 years for three lovely children aged from 1 to 6 years old. I also have a degree in Education, which involved work experience in a number of schools.

My Availability
I am open term time only and accept all funding. My opening hours are 7.30 until 17.00

My son went to Georgina in his first year of starting school, and absolutely loved it. Georgina did everything to make sure he was happy and settled and always kept us updated and informed through the app and the odd cute photo too. The setting is like a home from home, and I knew my son could relax in such a calm and homely space. I would highly recommend Georgina as a childminder, your children would not only be in incredible hands but they'd also make incredible friends too.

Georgina was the most wonderful Nanny for our children (aged between 1 and 6 years old) for 2 years until summer 2021. She was incredibly reliable, caring and creative and my children adored her (and still do!). She planned really creative activities (lots of arts, crafts and sensory play) based on the children's likes, needs and stages of development and she has a great understanding of the EYFSS. She took them on outings and played lots of games in the outdoors - she really fired up their imagination! It was very reassuring to have someone like her looking after our children while we worked - we knew we could just trust her to keep them safe and happy.
I would recommend her unreservedly as a childminder - if I ever need one in future she will be the first person I ask. I am happy to be contacted as a referee if you would like any more information.
