My Experience
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for kids of all ages, from tiny infants as young as 3 months to lively pre-teens up to 13 years old. Each child is unique, and I enjoy tailoring my approach to fit their individual needs. Whether it's soothing a toddler during a temper tantrum or helping a school-aged child tackle their homework, I handle challenges with patience and creativity.
One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had was working with a wonderful family for over three years. I cared for their two children from infancy through their early school years. During this time, I developed a deep bond with both the kids and their parents, and it was incredibly fulfilling to contribute to their development and well-being in such a meaningful way.
In addition to my nanny experience, I’ve spent almost four years as a support worker for children in care. This role has been profoundly rewarding and has given me a unique perspective on the diverse needs of children, including those with autism and ADHD. I provided both emotional and practical support, helping these children navigate their challenges, build resilience, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. My background in psychology has been a huge asset in this role, allowing me to apply what I’ve learned to real-world situations and make a positive impact on each child’s life.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a babysitter on numerous occasions, which has further expanded my experience with children of various ages and backgrounds. These experiences have reinforced my adaptability, patience, and problem-solving skills, as I’ve managed a wide range of situations with confidence and care.
