My Experience

Hi,
My name is Priscilla; I am an Early Years Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in the Education sector; I have worked in Nurseries, Schools and variety of Childcare Settings and have managed at least 3 Nurseries in the past. Am winding down and thought of Child childminding as better way of doing it.
I started my Childcare Career in 1999 at Lambeth College London and completed my NNED and have since obtained my BA Hons Early Years Degree. I was also involved in Training and Assessment and obtained my level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the LifeLong Learning Sector.
I have a vast experience in Multi-agency working and interventions: working with Early Years Consultants from Boroughs, SENCO, Speech And Language Therapist, Educational Therapist, Early Intervention Teams, social workers and working with children with special needs under the social services within CAF Safeguarding framework and visiting parents at home with the Social Services while employed as a Nursery Manager. I have also attended child conferences for children under child protection with multi-agencies and written reports for such meetings. Health and Education Plans and funding applications have also been my duty as the Nursery manager.
And prior to all these, have worked as a volunteer with children and young people including the youth alongside.
I have a separate large Baby room as I have worked in Baby Rooms for over 5 Years, good sized Garden including planting and Digging Areas at the back and play area in the front garden. Shade for Toys and messy play Area Outdoors.

My Qualifications

NNED, Foundation Degree, BA Hons and Teaching Qualification.

My Availability

Flexible.
Starting time is 7.30am

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Childminding from £8.00 per hour
