About Me
I am 22 years old with a degree in Education. I have spent most of my career working in Primary Schools and Nurseries, but following a recent career change to a more corporate position, I am missing the interaction with the children! I will be available alongside my Monday to Friday job, mostly on evenings and Saturdays.
My Experience
I worked in a primary school for a year while completing my apprenticeship in “supporting teaching and learning in schools”. I then went on to work in a nursery for a year, so I have got experience with children from newborn right up to the end of primary. I have also done lots of babysitting for family friends, and on one occasion had a “live-in” nanny job where I was responsible for planning activities, preparing meals, pick up and drop off, bathing and the bedtime routine. Since completing my degree in Education through the University of Gloucestershire, I have been working in more office based roles but I am keen to get back into working with children!
My Qualifications
I have got a level 3 diploma in supporting Teaching and Learning in schools, and a BA in Education. Alongside that, I have got a paediatric first aid Certificate, although I believe it to be out of date. It is something that I can update should the parents deem it necessary.
My Availability
My commitments are working Monday to Friday, but I will be available for evening babysitting and weekend availability too.
