I was entrusted with the development and wellbeing of two children a (10 months and 4 ½ years old at the start) as a live-out nanny. It was a wonderful experience being able to support, look after, stimulate and challenge the kids and I felt personal pride in their achievements. Some of my responsibilities were:

• Establishing daily routine
• Introducing new games and tasks to encourage logical thinking and enriching their childhood.
• We also engaged in story-telling, songs and rhymes, music and outdoor activities.
• Taking the child to school and bringing them back
• Occasionally taking them to the doctors, to the library, to the park, to music class etc.
• Cooking meals, snacks and refreshments for the children.
• Managing feeding, changing and naps for the infant.
• Administered medicine as needed for pain, allergies, or fever.
• Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, vacuuming, ect.
• Tidying up the children’s room.
• Helping the children complete their homework assignments, support learning and online classes (due to Covid)
