About Me
I am a warm, enthusiastic and creative person with proven experience in childcare. Coming from a large family, I have always had a passion for childcare and the development of children both in and outside the classroom. My interests include music, comedy writing and the outdoors.
My Experience
During the summer of 2012, I worked as an aux pair in Sicily for a family with 3 wonderful children aged 1-8. This experience also included housework and serving as a personal assistant to their mother.
Between 2018 and 2020, I worked in a primary school working 1:1 with children with autism and down’s syndrome. I also worked in classrooms assisting children with reading, writing and the general curriculum.
During my time at St. Paul’s, I undertook a course in Forest Schools. I would take the children out into our local woods and show them the importance of interaction with nature. Many of the children both physically and mentally benefitted from these sessions.
