**I am currently closed untill summer 2025 as I am on maternity leave.***
Hi, I'm Heather Bastow and I run Mrs B's Childcare. I'm 33, a wife, and mum to a 7 year old. I am based at Worsbrough, Barnsley, down by the reservoir where we enjoy walks and visits to the local farm and park. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with a well equipped secure back garden. We also have our very own resident house cat Ella, who is very friendly with all children but chooses to spend most of the day asleep in her teepee. I also offer wrap around care for Ward Green Primary and holiday clubs for up to 12 years of age.
I offer your child a caring, welcoming and safe environment in a home away from home. I offer a place for your child to learn and develop through play and encourage them to achieve their goals whilst ensuring they feel happy and valued at all times.
I offer a high standard of care tailored to each individual child as I believe this brings out the best in them, whilst guaranteeing to care for your child like I would my own.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children of varied ages from under 1's to 10 years old and also have a 7 year old of my own.
My Qualifications
Ofsted recognised Pre registration childminder training from Childminding UK, additional training in food hygiene & nutrition and fully Pediatric First Aid certified.
My Availability
My usual opening times are 08:00-17:30 Monday - Thursday.
Available 47 weeks of the year, closing for a week at Christmas and 4 weeks throughout the year.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees include all outings, activities and resources, snacks and drinks. Home cooked meals can be provided for a small extra cost. I also accept 2,3 & 4 year funding, CCPGS and tax free childcare.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Ward Green Primary School
