I strongly believe that all children are rich with potential, infinatly capable, creative and knowledgable. This belief means I care for children with respect and love for them as individuals. I love to provide the children I care for with opportunities to explore, use their imaginations and express themselves.
My Experience
I have more than 15 years experience working with young children in mostly nursery settings. I have unique experience as an early years art specialist in an international school. I have studied Montisorri and trained in Reggio Emilia education ethos'. Additionally I have a special interest in respectful styles of nurturing children, such as RIE parenting.
I have had early years advisary roles, trained early years educators and have sound knowledge of current child development research.
I am stepping away from managing a nursery and looking for a part time nannying role to be able to continue working with children whilst I pursue other endeavours.
My Qualifications
Ba honors in Child and Adolescent studies.
NVQ level 3 in Child Care and development.
Advanced Pediatric First aid
Advanced Safeguarding and Child Protection certificate
Special Educational needs training
Variety of upskill courses on areas of child development
