About Me
I have 38 years experience, married with two grown up children.
I regard myself as a 'Career Nanny', building up over the years with very varied roles.
I have always felt very privileged working in family homes , the children I have had cared for have always been my priority.
Being able to communicate well with parents is vital, I see myself as being very approachable, proactive, trustworthy and level headed.
Reaching milestones or gaining a new skill is amazing to see and to see a child's face light up is one of the best things as a Nanny you can witness.
Lots can be gained through structured activities but also equally through everyday events that just happen to 'reveal' themselves during the day.
Although routine is good, so is doing something a little different, is just as rewarding, eg that walk to the park may well lead onto picking up laves to create a hedgehog picture!
Positive outcomes come from praise and encouragement.
I enjoy being outdoors but equally I am happy to be baking.
My current Nanny role of 8 years is due to end shortly, and it has made me realise that I have still got alot to give as a Nanny, and I would embrace a new Nanny challenge 100% .
