My Summary

My Experience

After my Alevels I went travelling to South America where I taught in schools as an English teacher in countries like Honduras, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

Upon my return back to London I continued teaching English but this time with the charity Talking Together and gave English lessons to vulnerable migrant women.

Whilst volunteering with Talking Together I was also working as a coordinator at Nandos, Richmond. It was around that time that I began doing informal tutoring for English and Spanish just for abit of extra money.

Well, 6 months later, I had to resign from my job at Nandos since I was far too busy with all my students!

I left Nandos in late 2019 and started working for Italki (one of the biggest language learning platforms online) just a few months after. On italki, I teach a plethora of people from all across the globe, including children.

I love this job as it gives me so much flexibility and gives me the opportunity to meet people that I would never normally meet!

I also work for Mama.codes as a tutor/teaching assisstant and have been trained in giving coding/tech lessons to children as young as 4!

I have recently had to care for my mother, so I feel more than comfortable preparing nutritious meals, doing the cleaning, laundry etc..

My Qualifications

gcses: ranging from A* to B,
alevels: psychology C, design tech C, Spanish B
university: Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American studies at Birkbeck College
city & guilds level 2 support work in schools
I also attended a first aid training with Mama.codes

• Tutoring from £35.00 per hour

the fees depend:
babysitting £11, spanish for KS1and english tuition for primary school £20, spanish for gcse and alevel £25
