About Me
My name is Anne I am an Ofsted registered childminder, rated Good on my inspection in January 2023. I service Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School in Sidcup.
I am based in Blackfen in Sidcup 5 minutes drive from Falconwood/Welling and Sidcup train stations. I will have an under 3 (EYFS) space from September for the following days- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
I offer a welcoming, caring home from home environment where all children will have fun and grow in confidence. I have 5 amazing children aged (22,18, 15, 10 and 4)
I hold an enhanced DBS and a full paediatric First aid certificate and the following childcare certifications: Safeguarding Children, Prevent Duty and Fundamental British Values, Data protection (GDPR) Children’s Behaviour, Teaching and Learning in the Early Years Pedagogy, Food Hygiene, Recording Children’s Development, Leading and Managing a Childminding Setting, Cultural Capital, Developing Children’s Learning, These are available to view if you visit my setting. In addition I have all necessary insurance to cover both home and car
I will provide lots of activities such as water play, baking, puzzles, lego, books, music, dressing up, small world, play doh, painting, drawing and messy play! As well as having an accessible enclosed garden with ride on toys and games available. I ensure all the children have fun and enjoyment in my setting whilst learning every day. I am committed to following the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) and will ensure children’s progress and development is communicated with parents either daily or weekly (as preferred).
We attend various playgroups, music classes, libraries, museums, farms and soft play. During the holidays the children attend lots of day trips which are always lots of fun!
My Experience
I have over 25 years experience working with children in various professional careers, including; managing creches, soft play, qualified swimming teacher and working in education settings. Most recently, I worked in a Primary School, where I followed all DfE requirements with respect to Safeguarding. I also thoroughly enjoyed working with the children and watching them grow and develop.
I am a mother of 5 children who have made me the person I am today, this combined my professional experience has enabled me to gain years of experience of working and building relationships with children, dealing with behaviour effectively, healthy eating, developmental stages and the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, whilst taking into account each and every unique child’s needs.
I have always wanted to be a childminder and after having my youngest child, I decided on the career change.

I don’t know where to begin…Anne is amazing, within a week on my son starting school/Anne doing wraparound care, my son would cry when I’d show to the school to collect him, asking to go out with Anne instead! Anne cares for my son who is 4 (wraparound care) and my daughter who is 2. They both love Anne. Anne is reliable, friendly, caring and everything we want from someone caring for our children. My kids never come home hungry, upset, sad and always talk about what they have done with Anne. I am so glad I found Anne, her warm nature made me feel at ease instantly when meeting her.

Anne is brilliant- my son loves going to see her! His speech and confidence has grown 10 fold and that is because Anne is so encouraging of him and all that he does, they are always doing fun activities or on fun days out constantly learning new things-and Anne is great at keeping us updated via Whatsapp of all their adventures. Ollie happily runs up the drive each morning (on more than one occasion hasn't even looked back to say goodbye)! we couldn't be happier with Anne and look forward to seeing how well Ollie develops with her wonderful care xx

Anne started looking after my 4yo in February and my 11mo baby when I returned to work in March.
Our previous childminder was leaving the profession so we were trying to find childcare for our family at short notice, at the same time as I was returning to work, this all made it a really stressful time for our family. However, I am so glad we found Anne, my 4yo settled really quickly, he loves playing with the other children, Anne always takes them out to the library or the park after nursery. Our youngest loves going to Anne, she's now a chatty toddler and I'm glad she gets to spend time with her brother rather than being separated at nursery.
They both always eat well and during the holidays Anne takes them on days out to the beach, farms, soft plays etc. I love getting photos and messages of what they've been up to through the day.
Anne really has provided a home away from home for both of the children. I'm so grateful I can leave them in the morning and know they'll have a good day while I'm at work.

Anne looked after our 10 month old baby boy for 1 month. As soon as I met Anne and her family I was immediately put at ease and felt confident that she was the perfect person to look after our baby boy.
We loved the home from home feel and the manner in which she made us as a family feel welcome. Being a first time mum having all the worries you would have returning to work Anne was always so supportive&reassuring.
From their first day, my baby boy has thoroughly enjoyed going to her, her nurture and care is outstanding. She is very attentive and communication with us as parents has always been 100%!
She provides a range of toys and activities for them and plans the most loveliest days out. The food she provides is nutritious and well-balanced.
When I pick him up at the end of a day it is lovely to see my baby so happy and content and this makes us feel reassured that they are having a wonderful time in a safe and secure environment.
Thank you so much Anne. We couldn’t have made a better choice for what is probably the biggest decision a parent has to make!

Anne has been looking after our 15 month old daughter since she was 9 months old. Anne made what should of been a really hard time, leaving my daughter for the first time, an easy and comfortable experience. Nancy LOVES Anne and loves all her children too. They are out and about every day wether it’s to the beach, to playgroup or to the library and so much more. Anne keeps me up to date with every part of Nancy’s day. She WhatsApps me pictures throughout the day and sends me a daily report which tells me everything from how many wet nappies she’s had, to what she’s had for dinner, to new things she’s learnt that day. Leaving my daughter 5 days a week is so difficult but I leave her there every day happy knowing she’s content, loved and having so much fun. Me and my partner say all the time how lucky we are to have found Anne and we look forward to many more years with her.

My son has been with Anne for 4 months. he is 2. H loves going and has adapted really well to the setting. LITERALLY took him a a day. He is waiting at the door to go. Anne always has his out and is always doing fun activities. He always comes home having learned new things. He loves all the day trips and so enjoys all the different outdoor activities Anne provides.
Moving H to Anne from my previous provider was the best decision I ever made. H is so happy and that's all you want. I go to work not feeling guilty that I'm not spending time with him as I know he is out doing something fun with Anne. I highly recommend Anne. i

Anne has looked after my 2 children many times and I am extremely happy with the service she provides.
Anne offers a variety of fun activities for the children throughout the day, as well as providing a caring, safe and secure environment.
I know my children are very well looked after by Anne and are very happy to be left with her. Anyone in the area, looking for a totally trustworthy childminder, I would 100% recommend Anne.

Anne is a fabulous Childminder who provided a safe, nurturing environment whilst providing childcare for my son during school holidays. My son thoroughly enjoyed his time with Anne and often regaled us of the fun days he had learning and experiencing new things.
Anne is experienced, reliable & trustworthy, and she was always kind and patient and provided a true home from home environment.
I would highly remind Anne!
