About Me
I am registered as a Childminder with OFSTED to work independently. Also I am working as a Childcare, babysitter and/or nanny.
About my services: I live in Hornchurch, I set up my childcare service in a very welcome and spacious home environment with a beautiful garden that extends to Harrow Lorge Park that had playgrounds and amazing forest and a stream of water to do unforgettable excursion. I am located within walking distance of natural parks, a horse school, schools, a library, and local shops. At 10 minutes walk from Elm Park Station and 2 min from the bus stop. I am a passionate professional that loves children. I consider it a real privilege to care about them and open my doors to support their unending learning. My qualifications starting as a Social Worker from University, Mater in Busines, Early years educator / Childcare Qualifications, Safeguarding, First Aid Paediatric and adult, Health and Food Hygiene, plus other courses such as psychology and special need education. I speak English, Spanish, and also know a bit of Portuguese and Italian. I love animals and nature and I have chickens that are laying tasty fresh eggs, and as they are tame the children are able to enjoy feeding them and gather their eggs.
My Experience
I have 3 years of experience working as a Childminder and privoiusly I worked for two years as a Nursery Practitioner, plus in my homeland I have 30 years of experience working as a Social Worker. I have an amazing family spread around the world, 3 children and 7 grandchildren and I am living just with my hubby. I get a lot of experience working as a nursery practitioner that enables me to give a high childcare service to children setting up different activities with plenty of toys and resources to ensure children are guided by their interests and are able to reach their full potential. I enable children to learn across all areas of the curriculum and my aim is for all to achieve their potential and develop special interests and skills. I endeavour to ensure all children are happy and secure every single day under my care.

Pily is an amazing childmander! My son loves staying at hers. He does lots of activities and outdoor games , which is briliant. She also teaches him Spanish and helps with his homework, which is a big help for me .

My daughter has been going to Pily's since last October. She's been amazing with my daughter, she's always looking forward to seeing Pily and loves spending time with her. She always comes up with new activities and helped my child's mental development.
Great at communication and she's been very flexible when I needed extra help.
I can highly recommend her to everyone

Thank you so much Dora for giving me the privilege of having your beautiful and intelligent daughter in my setting. The great communication we had, was essential in supporting Libby in her development to achieve and solve new learning and challenges respectively. I am still amazed at when she first time signed inn at morning. writting her long name “Elizabeth” was a such achievement and now is ready to start her new journey at the school. All the best!!!
My son has been with Pily after school for almost a year now and I cannot recommend Pily enough for her amazing childcare service.
My son has special needs and the care and patience Pily has shown towards him is just incredible. The development in my son since he has been with Pily is outstanding - he has become so much more independent and she has managed to get him to do things he would never do at home !
She is such a warm, caring, loving person and treats the children like her own.....I can totally relax knowing my son is being cared for in such a wonderful environment and he absolutely loves going to her which speaks for itself.

I really love working for children and my aim is their welfare and happiness, through providing a rich environment where they could feel free, secure and loved to develop and reach all their potential and even more.
Pilly has been an absolutely amazing childminder to our boys. We were just as anxious as every parent leaving our boys in someone’s care. Especially as our eldest was not speaking or eating and was displaying some challenging behaviours. In just a few months our eldest was saying words and expressing himself more. He started to eat at the dinner table with his peers, his tantrums also reduced immensly. We are forever grateful for the huge improvement in both childrens development and can’t thank her enough. Pilly’s home is a “ home away from home “ and you can feel the love she has for the children as soon as you step in. Pilly provided us with essential feedback every pick up time and even offered tips and suggestions to do at home. Pilly always offers the children lots of activities to do during the day and her garden is the boys Favourite place to play. She has taken them out for walks numerous time and always focuses on activities suited to the child’s age and capability. Pilly treats every child like they’re special and pays attention to the small details like what they’re favourite things are. Pilly has always displayed the outmost professionalism without hindering her love and warmth. Our boys absolutely love her and looked forward to going to her house, even refusing to leave at times. One of the best decisions we ever made was choosing Pilly to take care of our precious boys.

Pily has done an amazing job with our daughter Francesca who is on the autistic spectrum. She's been so patient and welcoming, even when Francesca got upset at the morning drops off .
She's also very flexible and has taken Francesca out and about to nearby parks.
A true lifesaver!
