We are parents to a 3 and 5 year old. From aged 1 our little boy had been in nursery but it wasn't a great experience for him. Since he joined Milly's he has flourished. Milly has created a wonderful setting for her children and it's clear to see how much time and care she invests into them by how happy they are with her and how much they learn and experience.
Not only is my son happy, I am too as Milly supports me with great communication and guidance as a parent when I have to spend time away with work.
We're so happy to have Milly and North Star look after our family!

Milly and her family recently took on Our little boy after his old childminder didn’t work out. We have been so happy with Milly she has offered so many opportunities for our little boy that he always comes running home to tell us about. These experiences havent gone unnoticed and are appreciated. He talks about all his friends and always comes home clean and happy. Couldn’t ask for anything more in a childminder :)

My daughter has been going to North Star for almost a year now and she is so happy . Milly is excellent with my girl and I never worried when am away to work or studying. Milly has exceeded my expectations and I am eternally grateful for that.

My child joined North Star Childminder about four months ago and I can say it has been a great and wonderful experience for my son. Milly has been very kind, caring and considerate to me and my son. She always try her best to make pick up and drop off easy for us.
My son has improved greatly in his interaction with peers and his siblings since he started with Milly and he is always looking forward to being with her everyday. As for me, knowing that my son is with Milly keeps my mind at rest at work and helps me to focus more on my daily job as I know he is in good hands.
Milly is very kind, compassionate, considerate and friendly. Her childminding service is second to none and I will recommend her to everyone looking for a great and wonderful childminding service. She is 10/10!!!.

My daughter has been with North Star Childminder for 4 months and it was been a wonderful experience! As a first time mum, Milly has provided a lot of reassurance, kindness and care towards myself and my daughter. I have seen a massive growth in her since starting with Milly and she is always happy and full of life at the end of the day. I don’t have to worry as I know she’s in good hands! Milly is kind, approachable and flexible when I’ve needed extra care and help with pick up and drop off. North Star provides excellent care and I can’t recommend enough. Thank you for all you Do!

Millie provides outstanding childcare, in fact our son is looked after like he’s one of the family. Millie focuses on our son’s development with his learning, manners and social skills which are all key for us. When we pick him up he always seems happy and content which is amazing and gives us the confidence he thoroughly enjoys his time with Millie. We also like the fact there is flexibility with the ability to add extra hours if needed and we’ve even sent our other young son to Millie when we’ve had emergency child care challenges. We cannot recommend North Star child care enough 10/10.

My name is JOLIE BADILA and Mrs Milly is my son childminder.
Mrs Milly is a very good lady, my son loves her very much, I am full time care assistant and if I'm at work I am not worried because I know my son is in a good hands. She is very kind, and very careful, I never had any issues with Mrs Milly so I will recommend everyone to her and you will never regret.

My daughter has been with Milly for over a year now and has settled in so well. I have had some challenges where I’ve needed extra and last minute care and Millie has been nothing but accommodating with this. Millie is a lovely person and my daughter has really warmed to spending time with her.

My daughter has been attending North Stars Childminder service since September and she has settled very easily. She enjoys the activities that she is offered such as dancing and singing, arts and crafts and playing outside in the garden. Millie offers healthy eating options and she tries her best to encourage this. Millie is flexible and happy to help when needed. Millie provides a home away from home environment that my daughter thrives in. There is clear communication between Millie and myself and I am always provided with an update at the end of the day. Millie is personable, funny, thoughtful and conscientious about the care she offers to my daughter. I would recommend Millie and North Stars Childminder Service to other parents.

Milly is an absolutely fabulous childminder! She has so much patience and enthusiasm and such a real love of the children she cares for. My daughter loves going to Millys - she always asks to go even on days she isn't due to be there. The updates i get are brilliant too - easy to access and lovely to see what she's been up to. I love that they get out and about exploring too and I can relax knowing she is safe and having fun.Milly is warm ,caring ,extremely flexible and she has shown her support for me as well during difficult time from day one . She has great understanding. She never says no when I messed up her days off , Sorry Milly lol (I am terrible at it 😅) . My daughter always comes out with big smile every time

My son absolutely loves going to Millys. She is very welcoming, kind hearted and I feel my son is in a safe space.
Milly provides a good playing and learning environment for the children, with a lovely garden space with bikes and sand pits etc and a play house at the bottom of the garden, as well as inside her home. I would highly recommend Milly.

It’s really reassuring to see my children, so confident and comfortable and thriving with Milly. Their days are filled with lots of activities. Lots of fun and lots of laughter thanks to Milly being such a dedicated childminder.

Milly has taken care of both my children, but predominantly my now 2 year old son since he was only 11 months old. She offers a home, away from home where my son felt loved and part of her family. Milly showed such love and care towards my son that I never had to worry about him in my absence. Her family is also a huge part of the loving environment she provides, they are all so kind and welcoming! Many times I had to ply my son away as he didn't want to come home with me, which I believe is the biggest sign that he loved it there.
She also encouraged my son to reach his milestones and I feel he has made tremendous strides in his progress. Milly has been professional and easy to work with in providing the best results for my son. Cleanliness and home cooked meals were also second to none. It has been an amazing journey and I can't recommend Milly enough!

Thank you very much for this wonderful review and I couldn't have done it alone with you being so much understanding and also easy parent to work with made it perfect.
I recently moved from London to Colchester and was worried about getting childcare and even leaving him with a stranger on my return from maternity leave. I found Milly! My son has been with her for almost 2 months and at 8 months old at the time and being 8 weeks premature I was concerned about his progress and reaching milestones but since he has been with Milly he has progressed so much! It's amazing! I'm so proud! He loves going there,he gets excited when we get out the car,she treats him so well and gives me great advice as a first time mum. Her beautiful children love him and he has so much fun,Milly sends me regular pictures and videos,which really helps especially when I'm working. I'm so happy my son is happy. Thank you so much Milly!❤👏🏾

My daughter loves going to Milly’s. So much so that she never wants to leave when I go to pick her up 😂.
Very friendly and professional.
You can tell their home is full of love and Milly definitely treats Darla like she does her own children.
I don’t worry at all about leaving Darla. Milly even sends me pictures of her while I’m at work which is lovely.
Would definitely recommend to anyone. Milly’s children are lovely also and Darla loves playing with them.

My son enjoys going to his minder, I feel so lucky to have found Milly. A home from home for my child who have benefitted enormously in terms of his development and who have always been so willingly been dropped off which speaks volumes. He is safe and secure which is the most important thing in child development. Milly is understanding and she takes time providing quality care, smooth nurture and I can see lots of improvement in my son's development. Thank you for giving every child the opportunity to learn, and explore through play.
