About Me

Hello I am a 30 year old teacher, currently working in reception, loving my job looking after and educating children of 4- 5 years old. My role as a reception teacher sees me having responsibility for 25 children each school day and teach them through the early years curriculum. Therefore, I am very experienced in not only childcare but entertaining young children, keeping them stimulated and engaged.
Alongside teaching I also do regular babysitting for children between the ages of 2- 10, my duties in this role include picking up the children from school/ childminder, bathing them, cooking dinner and putting the children to bed. I have been babysitting for several years and not only do I enjoy this but I feel i have built up a great relationship and respect with both parents and children.
Before my teaching career I graduated from St Mary's University with a BA in Drama and applied theatre. I loved my time at university and learnt several skills which I feel have been very beneficial in my current childcare roles, I love to be creative and teach and play through drama and performance!

I would love to share my skills and passion for childcare with others and help out when I can, particularly during the school holidays and evenings. Having my own car I am rather flexible with travelling around Chertsey and the surrounding areas.
