About Me
My name is Kaneez and I am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I have recently received a 'Good' inspection outcome. Previous to this I have taught as a Reception Class teacher (non QTS) ,managed a nursery and have over 20 years of experience in Early Years.
My Experience
As a Registered Childminder I aim to work together in partnership with parent/carers to provide all children in my care with a clean, safe, loving, home-like environment where everyone feels valued and independence can be developed. I also aim to provide a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible, to help children to achieve their goals and promote their self-esteem. I believe that communication is key in developing a relationship, therefore i will give daily feedback to parent/carers and allow a two way communication at all times.
I welcome ideas and encourage parent/carers to provide me with comments and of suggestions. I run my setting professionally, attending training opportunities, respecting confidentiality, keeping organised records in accordance with current guidelines.
I provide a nutritious and balanced diet, encouraging the children to make healthy food choices, and cater for all dietary requirements.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
From £80 per day 8am-6pm (minimum 2 full days contract)
£45 half day 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm
Home care £15
£10 pick up/ drop off within 2 miles and petrol charges thereof. Must include 2 hours minimum care
£15 for out of hours

My daughter started with Kaneez in November and at first I was very anxious because I have never left my daughter with anyone outside of family before. Kaneez made me feel at ease immediately, always keeping me updated on my daughters progress and how she was doing throughout the day. The app she uses is so good as I’m able to see exactly what my daughter has eaten, when she has napped, had her nappy changed etc in live time when she is at the setting. Kaneez is amazing!!

Kay is very good with my son and I’m always rest assured of his safety when I drop him off at hers. She’s quite flexible with timing and very considerate of work hours. Always looking out for my son in terms of learning development and growth. She’s proactive and devoted to the job.
My son loves being with her and I appreciate all the care. I highly recommend Kay anytime!

Kaneez is very professional, reliable and flexible to our timing as my husband and I have variable shifts at work. There is parking space available to drop and pick up kids. She updates daily activities like food, diaper change, sleep, medication etc on an app which is very useful. She sends pics to show that bubs is having a good time.

We were looking for a childminder who can look after our daughter whom we can trust with. Working as a nurse at our local hospital and seeing some things that can happen to a child, my child’s welfare and safety is my utmost paramount. Luckily, all my concerns were alleviated when we met Kay. She is everything we were looking for. Amongst all others, she is Ofsted registered, she got insurance and got an updated DBS. Because I do shift work, Kay is very flexible and accommodating with me whilst I try to give her as much notice as I can beforehand. She drops off my child to her school. She engages and chat with my child which I like. She also does ad hoc jobs for me. Due to the nature of my job and in case of emergency, I know I’ve got Kay to rely on. Very reliable. We could not recommend Kay enough!

Kay takes care of my child and I am very happy to have come across her profile. She is the very best at what she does and my son sings her praise all the time. He looks forward to going to her always and as a parent, that gives me peace of mind. Thank you kay.

Kaneez is the best decision I have made concerning childcare for my daughter. She's the best and my daughter loves going there and happy to be there. She always welcome us with a big smile.She does lots of activities with her. I'm always confident when I am away because I know my daughter is in good hands.
Kaneez is simply the best in looking after children and I will choose her over and over again.

She’s literally the best. Kay’s childcare services are exceptional. My daughter loves going to her, always having so much fun. Couldn’t be any happier! Most important thing is to know that your child is well taken care of and safe. You’ll get all of that with Kay.

I highly recommend Kaneez, she has been an incredible Childminder to my son. She has gone beyond my expectations. She has helped me get Logan ready for year 1 by working on his phonics. I have seen a huge improvement on his reading skills and feel like he has received a head start with his learning. Kaneez has also taken logan to various trips including a park, a kids soft play area and the zoo. She has given my boy a fun adventure filed summer and for that I am forever grateful. Kaneez would provide multiple meals a day for Logan usually ending the day with a nice picnic at the park. Logan has come home absolutely exhausted and ready for bed at the end of each day. Logan has expressed many times how much he Loves kay and will miss her dearly. We hope to have Kaneez as Logans Childminder again in the future.
