About Me
Hi my name is Sophie,im the fun and frolics behind Rise and Shine childminding .
I'm happily married and live with my grownup children aged between 24 and 26 and my chunky lovable pug called mickey .
I offer a home from home setting for your little ones to come and enjoy their days ,where we explore nature ,bake yummy treats and play with lots of different resources ,get sticky and imaginative with activities ,sing,dance and enjoy a wide range of books.
I am an ofsted registered childminder graded GOOD and follow the eyfs framework to help your children develop their skills and learn about the world around them .
I used a childminder for my son when he was young ,and completely understand that it is difficult for parents to choose the right person to trust and feel comfortable leaving their children with.I am a big believer that having a strong bond and engaging with children in their interests and abilities is a solid building block for enabling them to grow, Rise and shine .
I have been childminding for over 4 years and love watching and helping the children grow and develop through their learning journey.
I'm a huge advocate for introducing and enabling children to explore the world around them ,from zoos, parks,farms,play groups, wildlife walks,shops,soft play,libraries and much more. Adventure and discovery makes learning fun and delivers impact.
I'm experienced with various age groups from 6 months old all the way to school age. I offer age appropriate care and resources.

My Experience
I worked as a childminding assistant for over a year and fell in love with this most rewarding and challenging job.
This made me want to start my own setting and develop my own little extended family of children to nurture and help them achieve full potential. I have now been working as a fully fledged childminder/ climbing frame/entertainer/crazy singer and professional dancer of baby shark, the okey cokey and hop little bunnies for over 4 years.

My Fees

I offer day sessions 7.45 _5.45
My daily session includes breakfast, snacks,lunch, dinner,all activities and resources, and all outings .(eg, soft play ,farms,play groups)
