About Me
Hi I’m Amy, I’ve been living in Scotland for over three years. I am from Scotland but lived in Dublin previous working in the childcare sector for 11 years.
Currently I work full time Monday to Friday taking care of two children ages 6 and an half and 4 and a half.
At the moment I am only looking for weekday evening babysitting/weekend hours. From April I would be looking for some ad hoc Friday hours, morning or evening.
During my time in Ireland I studied my Fetac level 6 in Child development, volunteered at many family festivals and worked as a children’s entertainer at various events. Looking after children is something I really enjoy, it’s such a fulfilling role.
Throughly enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor play, messy play, baking and cooking with the children and teaching them new things.
My Experience
Over the years I worked in many different childcare positions. Live in/live out Nanny, children’s entertainment, crèche and preschool setting also have enjoyed lots of volunteer roles at family festivals around Ireland.
Really enjoy taking different childcare courses, I am very interested in children’s health and nutrition.
I was lucky enough to keep my nanny position during lockdown which meant I have a great deal of experience with homeschooling/tutoring. It was a big change to our usual routine but such an enjoyable one.

My Availability
Looking for a full time, permanent long term nanny position. Also happy to work occasional weekends if babysitting required.
Very happy to travel with the family, I have experience doing so in previous roles.
