My Summary
About Me
I am an incredibly warm, bubbly, and empathetic person - traits I can guarantee you will notice instantly upon meeting me. I have 8 years childcare experience, and have three siblings myself. My hobbies include outdoor activities, art, climbing, debating, swimming, baking and drama. I love to organise day trips, such as seeing animals or museums, but also enjoy indoor activities such as puzzles, or cosy film nights. I always go above and beyond to help other individuals. I am currently a Samaritans volunteer and have worked with Suicide Prevention Bristol. I am also a part time English Literature student at the University of Bristol and have worked as a private tutor in this subject.
I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in a range of primary schools in Bristol, teaching ages from 4 - 11. These classes can have up to 30 children in them, so I am used to juggling different tasks in a hectic environment, while making each individual child feel heard and appreciated. Last term, I worked as a Nursery play worker, as one-to-one support for two children. One of these children was nonverbal with autism, and the other was really struggling with the school transition due to moving here from another country. The latter would often have emotional outbursts, it would be my job to console him and make him feel safe.
I have just spent the last 8 months working as a nanny for two children - aged one and four - I only left this position because I have moved back to London. This role has given me a plethora of childcare experience and joy, therefore I would love to get another nanny job!
I really hope you will consider me as your nanny. Please feel free to send me a message if you require any additional information and I will send you my CV.
Take care :)
