I am an enthusiast, friendly, caring mum of three children. I am very family orientated and being a mum of three I understand the importance of positive input, care and love that our children need. I am very practical and organised. I engage well with children and young people. This is evident from my past role and experience both professionally and personally. I am also a Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
My Experience
I have worked in both the retail and health and social care sector. I am a bubbly, sociable, outgoing individual. I have worked in a secondary school setting supporting children and have sound knowledge of SEN. I have also worked with Children who have autistic spectrum condition and ADHD.
Presently I work as a Social Worker in a safeguarding children’s team. I enjoy this very much and have built positive relationships with the children and families I work with.
Studying for my social work degree and also practicing as a social worker has been invaluable to adding to my knowledge around child development, approaches and skills when working with children. When working with children I place safeguarding in high regards and I also embrace diversity and culture. I have experience working with children and families from different cultures , religion , backgrounds, capabilities, and needs.
I am on the DBS update service and I hold registration with social work England.
