About Me
I’m a student midwife so I am very keen to find an ad-hoc/flexible nanny or childminder who can work with me long term.
We are moving to Folkestone in July so hoping to meet a nanny/childminder over the summer that can help us out.
My Requirements
As part of my degree, I am required to complete placement hours alongside university. I work shifts so would need someone who is flexible and can do unsocial hours (come to our / drop to your house, drop her to school, pick up from after school club and do homework/give dinner until I pick her up).
I also have to do night shifts (my daughter is very chill and goes to sleep around 6:30-7 latest so this would essentially be a sleep in for a reduced rate until I return in the morning)
For the nanny:
An ideal candidate would be someone who:
- Confident in sole charge, picking up from and dropping off to school, helping with homework, activities and dinner etc.
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car; DBS checked (or willing to undertake one), childcare qualifications and Ofsted registered.
- Can work unsocial hours e.g. early mornings or overnight when needed.
- Is flexible, reliable, caring and trustworthy.
- Can cook and help with light household work related to the child (cleaning up after the children & encouraging them to help tidy up etc)
- Professional looking for a long term ad-hoc role
