About Me
Hi, my name is Carla. I am a fully registered Ofsted childminder living in the Flitch Green area of Dunmow. I have three children a son age 14 and twin daughters age 10, we also have a cat named Mittens. I live on the fringe of Flitch Green and am surrounded by the most beautiful countryside which makes fantastic walks in all weather. Flitch green has two children's play areas both within walking distance. I have a three bed town house with purpose setup playroom for younger years children. I also have a nice size garden for outside play, with a selection of toys.
I have wonderful outside space at my allotment, which we spend time at most mornings, painting, digging, growing and playing. There is a wonderful wooded area in which we take walks. We have a large polytunnel at our allotment also which allows us there in most weathers. We also enjoy trips to the library and local play areas. I offer the children a home from home environment, which is caring, nurturing, educational and fun. Children are very happy coming to me and always come and go smiling.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience and knowledge and will help little ones flourish.
I am first aid trained, and have the following qualifications.
Level 3 - Homebased childminding.
Level 2 - food and hygiene for early years settings.
Autism and ADHD Awareness.
Safeguarding (DSL).
Anaphylaxis in early years.
Keeping children safe online.
Anxiety in children.
Ofsted focused communication & Language.
Speech and language awareness.
Learning though play.
GDPR in early years settings.
Level 5 food hygiene rating.
I am also fully enhanced DBS checked.

We moved to Dunmow a few months ago and I painstakingly looked for a childminder who could help me with my little girl, Bridget (18 month-old). I had my own personal reasons for being very thorough when deciding who would be helping me with my little one.
I instantly felt Carla was the right person for us. She was very communicative and professional from the start.
We met her, and her place is LOVELY - I knew that Bridget would have a fantastic time there. And I have been proven right.
Carla is extremely hard-working and kind. And her family is just gorgeous.
Bridget is thriving.
I wish I could leave 10 stars. ;-)
